Dentures have been “a thing” for a very long time. It is the easiest, and least expensive way to have “all new teeth” that look perfectly natural and function well. When we make a denture your expectation should be perfectly natural-looking teeth. No one should know you are wearing a prosthesis unless you tell them! You should have good chewing ability and the prosthesis should be comfortable. You should have no discomfort when wearing a well-fitting removable denture. Top dentures stay in with “suction” while bottoms typically require an adhesive to achieve the same level of stability as an upper denture.
